Canada

Normally Canada reminds me of swimming in a lake, fishing, reading in a hammock, making bon fires, sun bathing on the dock, tubing and cliff jumping. But this trip to Canada was a very different experience.

On Thursday morning, my grandma Mira, my friend Naomi and I, departed at 6am from New York and drove for 9 hours.

Thousand Islands Bridge.

Our usual lunch stop, diner/gas station.

One advantage of ice fishing is being able to leave your line down until you are ready to check on it.

We got across the lake on a trailer pulled by a four wheeler. We even had the luxury of sitting in plastic chairs.

By the time we headed back, the snow created a whiteout and the land was hardly visible.
